GETTING TO GOA FROM
AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
There are no direct flights to Goa from Australia and New Zealand
all the services fly via an Asian hub city into Delhi, Mumbai
or Chennai from where you can then pick up a domestic flight into
Goa. Some of the best value air fares from Australia to India
are on the jointly operated Ansett-Air India flights from the
East Coast, Perth and Darwin via Hong Kong . Qantas Airlines also
offers a competitive low season fare from east coast to Mumbai.
There are daily departure connecting with these flights from most
of the Australian cities with less frequent departures from Cairns
and Darwin (2-3 times a week)
Flying from New Zealand, you can try Singapore Airlines daily from Auckland and Christchurch via Singapore to Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai or Calcutta. Air New Zealand and Air India from Auckland to Mumbai or Delhi via Singapore, Hong Kong or Bangkok. Thai Airways to Delhi or Calcutta via Bangkok operates from Wellington.
